D326 in France

Hi folks, just found this forum while looking for info on our little tractor. My Dad is using it at the moment, basically to carry the firewood in from the forest. But they are selling up and when they do I can get my hands on it. I intend to get it working for a living and restore it as I go. I found out that as standard it should have a 6speed transmission and the 8speed was an agriomatic transmission. Could someone enlighten me as to what that is. Ours has 4 gears and hi/lo so assume ours will be the 8speed. It doesn't like changing gear when you are moving and the clutch seems good.
Here it is...........

That looks like a Jewel of a utility. Very usable. The high low should (if it is like a Torque Amplifier, or auto clutched 2 speed) the primary transmission in tractors (most) do not shift on the fly, they use straight sliding cut spur gears and or dog clutches to engage them, no syncronizers. This is a German (IH Neuss) D-226, 3 cylinder, 26HP, built 1962-1964. This with the 4 by 2 transmission is the agromatic transmission. The engine is a diesel, 4 inch stroke and 3-7/16 inch bore. Has differential lock as well. This developed from the earlier Farmall D-324 (1956-1958) and D-324 (1958-1962) and is from the earlier Farmall DED-3 (1953-1956) which has the slightly small bore of 3-1/4 inch bore engine. The 3-1/4 inch bore version was the D-322.
I have a 1961 D-214 that I finished restoring last November. This has the 2 cylinder 3-1/4 inch bore engine
