Just bought a 656 utility gear drive. Bought it from a dealer, it was a rough trade in. When they traded it in, all the hydraulics worked OK. Now they dont work at all. No steering or loader. PTO does turn on/off. Weird thing is when when we were loading it backwards, when it was on our steep ramps, the hydraulics started to work a little...? The steering seemed to work ok? Anyone got any ideas?? |

| Sounds like the center of pressure plate tore loose or the splines are worn out. The pressure plate drives thr pumps and PTO. |

| First and simplest is to check the fluid level in the transmission/hydraulic resivoir. Make sure it"s at least full of Hy-Tran or equvalent. I usually run a bit over full. You may have to run it a bit to let the system refill and work any air out if it has been sitting for any length of time. |
