300U Front Rim Question

The front rims that came on my 300 utility have an offset large enough that they only fit with the rims dished out, which makes the front wheel tread width wider than rear tires. With the wheels dished in they rub on the steering/spindles. It has a loader on it; what type of front rims should be used?

I've looked at some of the 300U photos on this site and the rims appear to have minimal offset, almost appear more like a car/truck rim. Thanks for the help.

If like the 300U I have the rims are a common 6 hole rim that you can buy at any tractor dealer or farm and home store. The 300U I have has if I remember right ford rims on it

Do the rims or tires rub? They used different rims for 5.5 and 6.00 vs 7.50 tires. If you put a wider tire on the narrow rim, the tire will rub.

Thanks for the reply. The 300 utility front end isn"t adjustable. A wide front for a Farmall 300 would be, but not utility (at least not mine).
