International 454 Clutch and brakes

Hi,
I just bought a 454 and I have two problems:
1. When I have started the engine it seems like the clutch is not working and I cannot get it into gear - it is just making an grinding noise.
2. Brake pedals does not have any affect at all - i tried to bleed, but at the right side it is not coming oil at all. I tried to bleed many times at lef side, but i cannot build up pressure.
Any idea what it can be? The tractor worked before, but it has been stored for some time now. Temprature has been up to -10deg C here in Norway. Any help have been great

Re the clutch, i note you say tractor has been stored for some time !!

It may be that there is some rust forming on the transmission input shaft and when the clutch is released this rusting is stopping the clutch disc sliding freely so it drags against the fly wheel and causes gear grating.

Ideally if you had good brakes you could start in gear then with the clutch pedal depressed jam on the brakes hard to free off the disc??

Under the clutch housing is a plate which you can remove, then using an inspection light you may be able to see w hat is happening??.
