TA throwout bearing

Replacing the TA throwout bearing on a 300U and noticed that
I cannot turn the new bearing when I have it in my hand. It was
upper 30's in the shop so when it warms will it be able to turn?
Seems like all bearings are stiff with the grease that the factory
puts in them until you turn them a couple rounds but this
seems a little odd. Thanks!

Not sure about the 300 but is it a graphite bearing that's not supposed to turn?

Hmm, the new TA throwout bearing in Dad's tractor turned easily. So did my clutch throwout bearing... It was pretty cold those times we replaced those parts.

You might want to take it in the house and get it warmed up to see if that's the problem, BEFORE you install it.

On my 300 RC I bought a good used bearing to put in because mine
was sloppy but it was a ball bearing. I would think the 300U would
be the same but I don't know.
