Wiring diagram late model 140

I have a late model 140 with the factory alternator. I need a wiring diagram. Anybody have one thy could scan and email to me? This tractor has the factory alternator, turn signals, emergency flashers and combo work/tail light. The light switch part number is 107200C2. I looked on the IH website and don't find any wiring info for this switch. It does list the part number for tractors after SN 62472. The wiring was messed up by someone before me and some things work and some do not. Light switch had one terminal broken off and I got a new switch, but don't know how to properly hook up without a wiring diagram. There are two fuse holders, and one is not hooked up. I suspect it needs to hook to one of the terminals on the switch. When I hooh up the new switch like the old, work light comes on when switch is in off position and the flashers don't work, but the turn signals do. Turn signals are on a separate switch. If I had a wiring diagram, I think I could figure this out. Any help greatly appreciated!!

I looked in my Farmall 140 Part Catalog and there is a change at s/n 26801 to a 12 volt system but still retains a generator. There is no mention in the part catalog of an alternator and the 12 volt light switch is numbered as 376851R91. The diagram also is still showing the voltage regulator being used since it hasn't been revised to an alternator. Also, the lighting options you note aren't addressed either in the TC-52B part catalog. I would be happy to copy and mail what I have if desired but doubt it will be much assistance, Hal.

I already have all the info that you describe. The best wiring diagram I have is the one in the owners manual for my 140 that has the 12 volt generator, but it does not help much. I looked at the owners manuals that binder books have for the 140. They list three and one is for after SN 62472 which is where the factory alternators started. I guess I'm going to have to buy that. Thanks!

I have the late one. There is no wiring diagram but there is a diagram of the light switch and a pin-out listing with wire colors and connections. Where can I send a scan?

My email is open on the forum, so send me an email that way
and I will reply to it a then you can send the scan. I don't like
posting my email address on the forum because it invites
spam. Thanks. I wonder, do you have the owners manual for
your tractor. I have another 140 with the generator and that
has the best wiring info I have found, but of course the switch
is not the same. I spent a couple hours with it and a
volt/ohmmeter and I have all working except the flashers. I
suppose the light switch is supposed to connect to the turn
signal switch, but can't determine how that goes.

Yes, I have the owner's manual. That's what I meant when I said 'the late one' (alternator 140 Owner's Manual).

If it's open, I don't know how to work it. I get this:

Meanwhile, I can tell you:

Light switch Pin 3 (Yellow Wire) connects to Left Turn Flasher
Light Switch Pin 5 (Green Wire) connects to Right Turn Flasher.

It also says:

"The white, yellow, and green pins are factory pre-wired."

So I imagine you don't need to connect one switch to the other, unless somebody ripped something out. White is ground, by the way (Pin 1).
