I have a 1951 S/A that the gas tank has a leak in the bottom under the mounting bracket.I used the tank sealer that NAPA sells to seal it last year.It seemed to do just fine and doesn't leak but I went to start it the other day and it wouldn't start. When I looked at the sediment bowl I could see the sealer in the bowl, guess I didn't get the tank as clean as I thought. Is there anywhere to get new tanks for these old tractors or do I need to redo this one or look for a used tank? |

| The absolute best thing to seal fuel tanks is a product by Flamemaster. It's name is CS3204 Sealing Compound. It's made for sealing fuel tanks on jets and will outlast the tractor. |

| I fixed one by sandblasting it clean then used fiberglass resin. The RED COTE sealer can also work if you get the tank clean first. |
