Can i change the imput shaft seal on the belly pump without removing it from the tractor?

Yes Howard. You will need a long flat bar or large screwdriver to stick down the inlet pipe so the gears won't rotate when you try to remove the coupler.

Putting a bar down the filler will only get you down into the reservoir. You would have take the pump out of the reservoir to insert something into the inlet of the pump to get into the gears. So, with the entire unit intact, use a brass drift and give the coupler a rap, several maybe, or use an air wrench with a made up adaptor. It is regular right hand threaded .
