Had to bore the block for 291 sleeves to get the engines back in shape. [Reply]  [No Email]

Janicholson 02-04-2013 18:44:22 74.60.94.18 Report to Moderator	Re: 263 engine without sleeves in reply to doorman, 02-04-2013 18:12:12   Rings are machined to be a medium press fit into the block, and just a few thousandtha smaller in ID than the bore. they should stick out of the block about .004" They can be made from mild steel as there is virtually no wear at that point.
