They would rather sell accessories for a new tractor than parts for an old one. I'm running a 1206, an old IH haybine and a older CaseIH round baler that they could sell me parts for if they acted better. Heck I can go anyplace and get treated like that. I don't run a bill and pay up front with cash so it isn't that I'm a dead beat. Rick [Reply]   [No Email]

Went to the closest CaseIH dealer for some parts and when my turn finally arrives at the counter a local guy with new equipment walks in and I just got forgotten about until everyone there had been taken care of. Like those letter series tractor folks are more trouble then they are worth. After a few times like that I found a different dealership the other direction from home which was about half again as far away. They were so helpful and just happy to help me with anything I was working on. At the time I was restoring an IH No. 11 hay rake which is really a rare item. They found several items I needed from the obsolete part depots and through the dealership network inventory system and put me in contact directly with them as the parts weren't worth the cost of shipping them to their facility and then on to my home. After a few times they just set me up with an account and now ship everything directly to my home and send a bill each month for any purchases. There are some really good CaseIH folks out there and if not happy somewhere give another one a try and you will find one as well, Hal. [Reply]  [No Email]

Everything is in their computer. Been doing that for 11 years with 0 problems except for one time when I got the wrong part. Excellent service. [Reply]  [No Email]

I have two dealers about the same distance. One is a little easier to deal with but in all honesty both have been helpful. Also have found some parts there that were cheaper than aftermarket.
