Found a W4 close by."Ran 4 years ago" decent sheet metal Needs a rear rim & new tires all around, Welded crack on clutch housing ,not sure if motor is stuck.What's it worth.First one I found in 6 mos. looking all over Kansas |

| It's worth exactly what two tons of scrap is worth at your local yard. $300 to $400.
Maybe a little more if the engine turns. Usually if they turn over you can get 'em running.
Even a little more if the tires are decent. Tires are big money to replace. |

Seems a lot of times only the junk engines that need to be rebuilt will still turn. :lol: My grandpa restores Ford cars/trucks and he put me on to that concept.
Same opinion here. It is worth $600-800 max even here in WI. Yeah, the H engine is easy to rebuild but the tires will cost you more than you could EVER sell it for.
Can I assume this tractor is the one you are looking for the rim for? I can't imagine it ran that well four years ago if it has a rotten rim. Seems the good ones are good for their entire lives. |
