my 766 ih i think has a check valve leaking in the hydraulics, is there a way to free this up without splitting the tractor apart ?

lift arms and both remote hydraulics leak down over nite. my 806 which has been setting for 4 months lift arms not leaked down

Piston seal on the three point piston is your problem as it needs rebuilt and as for the remotes with out looking at them and seeing if they are leaking from the unlatching piston or not as that is the only repair you can make on that .

i have a ih 2001 loader on this tractor hooked to both remote hydraulics the bucket leaks down about the same as the 3 point hitch

Both of your remote valves are leaking too.

In reality, you have three separate leaks. Seems unlikely, but it's true. The "hold" is internal to each remote valve.
