I found a set of front wheel weights for a farmall A to super MTA. anyone know a guess of what they are worth? thanks

The front wheel weights are quite valuable. I know there's a set up on ebay right now for $175.

That's what they're ASKING, not what they'll eventually sell for.

I've seen them bring $125 easily on ebay. I usually take ebay prices and cut them back by about 20% to get local market value.

I've sold about 7 sets of them for either 125 or 150 a pair and sold them all very quick.

I just was checking on ebay sold listings, prices I saw were from $120 to $220 per set. I listed a set for $175 and will see what happens. One thing that is nice about them is they can ship anywhere in the US for $12 in a flat rate box.

Why is it that you figure the prices on E Bay are inflated by 20%. Do you sell on E Bay? Have you ever parted out a tractor and sold the parts?

A lot of the stuff on ebay is ran up by friends or by people who really is not interested in it, then someone who really wants it will pay the over inflated price..Also if you watch some of this stuff that sells at the inflated prices, will reappear on Ebay by the same seller...

Why are you getting your undies in a twist?

So what if ebay prices are inflated by 20%? It's 20% that you put right in your pocket. It's no big secret. Enjoy it. God bless the USA, right? Where else can you get free money for doing nothing?

Fact of the matter is you have a much larger market via ebay, and you have "auction fever" to your advantage.

If it makes you feel better, I can say local prices are DEflated by 20%, okay?

I am not upset by your comments in the least. The truth of the matter is if I could sell all of my merchandise via local sale for cash I would do it in a heartbeat. Based on your answer you do not sell on E Bay or part out tractors. For anyone who is running a legitimate business selling part the prices are going to be higher. The actual fixed cost of doing business on E Bay including credit processing is about 15%. This does not include the expenses, which include: shop payments, payroll, shipping supplies, machinery, tools, electricity, heat, insurance, truck, trailers and subcontractor expenses. You are right prices on E Bay are higher as they are for any business that provides a quality product, timely service and guarantees the product. I'm not mad, just curious about how you came to your conclusion.
