I need to get new belts, gaskets (valve cover and head), oil filter and a PTO seal for my 51 M. Since I really prefer all original parts (restoration) where is the best place to purchase these items:

Case IH dealer
OEMtractor parts
NAPA
Elsewhere?

I'm looking not just for originality, but also best quality.

Thanks

New/old stock is the most accuret.New stuff from CIH
will say "Cih" or "CNH".Napa stuff will be labeled
NAPA.OEM stuff (belts/hoses) is repackaged vendor
stuff, label could be any brand.I think the quality
of each would be 'up there'

Sort of up to you but will say this. The more parts you buy from Case/IH the more you will pay and maybe be better but maybe not. You can also support this site and buy most if not all form here. The gaskets and that type of stuff probably from this site unless you want them tomorrow. If you want them fast try an auto parts store then go from there. If you have time support this site and you should have them by the end of the week

I usually buy my gaskets from CaseIH, unless it is a very large one the prices are what I call reasonable. However the gaskets that come with the aftermarket engine kits I have bought are also OK. Take the old belts to NAPA or another place that has them, they can figure it out if there are no numbers -- as long as they have a "name brand" they are ok.
