Int M gas converted to 12 volt, new 12 volt batt turns over grear. No spark at spark plugs. Tractor ran great last fall. Fuel is getting to carb, Will not attempt to even pop. What next?

In my experience, That sounds like the condeser is bad. Make sure the plug wires are secure in the cap and coil.

That's simple. You have spark at the battery but not at the plugs. Find the break. Points have to be CLEAN to make contact. When that contact is broken the plugs fire.

Adding to Zach's ideas. The distributor point gap is .020" hen on the tip of a breaker cam lobe. The Mag is .01" (be careful to keep the mag rotor in time, the rotor must point exactly where it did when removing the midplate to get at the points. Jim

With your points open and your ignition switch in the on postition you should have voltage on both small terminals use a volt meter or test lite. Rub the points with some 320 wet or dry until shiny. Hal

Does your M have a ballast resistor in series withof the coil primary? (Most 12 volt conversions do....)

If it does try jumpering across the resistor. If the tractor now starts, the resistor has failed and must be replaced. (Yes - ballast resistors DO fail!)

Check the points to see if they are clean, if you have a magneto or a distributor the point gap may be different but either one will need to be kept from corrosion. You might need points, condenser, cap, rotor or coil, or you could have a short or a break in the wiring anywhere on the tractor.
