I don't think so. There is no way that case with the step fit could not leak without a seal of some sort. I believe there was a special double bevel or whatever type ring that should be there. PO could not find one so they tried a gunk and that didn't work. So the tractor went down the road that way.
I have afriend that calls on Eaton, sells them a jillion dollars worth of abrasives. I'm going to turn him loose on solving this .
Does anyone have TG that was made within the last 10 years?

| I wish I would have not thrown the old one away. I would have posted pictures. There were no seals, just lap fitted. The new ones have seals. The old one I replaced was out of a 400/450 farmall.
