Always use the clamp on type if I needed to replace an end.....even though I hate those things. How do you attach the solder type lugs? What type of solder would I use to affix them.? I think all I have is the small electrical solder. We might have a roll of the larger solder (about size of 10 ga wire). What is used for those lugs? [Reply]   [No Email]

That is even easier than the clamp type and so much more durable and reliable!! Thanks for the tip. I have the flux and propane torch handy to do that too.
