Ideas for mounting an hour meter to an H

Have an hour meter and a recently rebuilt engine. Looking for ideas and/or pictures on where to mount an hour meter to a '41 H. A thinking of making a bracket of some sort and attaching it to the bracket with a hole in it that the batter cable is curving around in this picture.

You could install it where you mentioned or up higher where you can see it when seated. I installed mine under the seat on my garden tractor. It has a Delco Remy starter/generator and I have a wire connected to to A terminal on the generator as there's only voltage on that terminal when the engine is running. It's been on there a long time. Hal

The hour meter I bought was a standard 2" gauge that fit common gauge bracket. I mounted that bracket underneath the hood. Just in front of the tank. Out of sight unless you crouch down and look up.

Picture is of tractor I saw at a show.

I mounted mine in the hole in the front fuel tank support ( don't need to see it that often) and ran the wire to the powered side of the coil.
