Where do you live?

Unlike other fourms, this one doesn't let others know where they are from. Kind of a nice feature when discussing problems and being able to swing by and help others. If you don't mind, reply where your located in the country.

Live a few town's south of JRSutton. I shipped my dad's 1940s vintage Old Town canoe back to them to repair/restore. They butchered it. Come to find out they dont build their own wood canoes anymore or so the excuse was.

just outside jefferson city MO cool to see howmany fellow missourians are on this site would love to see farmall hals collection as if i remember right he has a 240 also. see people from loz area which i like to visit in the spring

Springfield, MO

Lots of people from Minn-E-Sota I see. I was born in Paynesville and still have a lake lot up there on a small lake near Green Lake. Planning a trip up there this summer for a week. Going to look for Dad's 650 he sold years ago on the auction. He knows who he sold it to and maybe it is still around. Wouldn't that be a cool find!!!

Come on down sometime but my 240 is in piles of painted up parts and pieces at present - plan on starting putting it back together shortly and hope to have it useable this spring to rake hay. A nice tractor and great looker but few if any are shown at tractor shows which is main reason for my initial interest along with the fast hitch, Hal.

Hi Will K.
Am originally from Dushore Penna (also along route 220) but now here in Highland Michigan (W. of Pontiac & N. of Milford.

I live/work in Cannon Falls, MN but the toys are on the farm near Wykoff, MN. Anybody got any good leads on the following, kind of near southeastern Minnesota: IH 706 NF, 3pt, good running shape - New Idea Uni, gas, husking bed, 2RW head

DeltaRed, I'm outside Colorado Springs in Peyton. If you are ever down this way, give me a shout. I also head up to Longmont quite often.

I grew up a mile or so outside of Wykoff. I bought a MM corn sheller just west of Austin and pulled it back to the farm a couple of summers ago.

My Super C I bought to restore was a family tractor that belonged to the Vienna High School football coach before he went to a nursing home. It was orginally purchased new by his father-in-law for barn lot chores on his large farm in northern Missouri. The guys at Honse Implement in Vienna told me about the tractor being for sale. Is your 240 a Farmall row crop or International Utility model? I will be having a lot of left over good used stuff once I'm done with mine - finding unique 240 parts is not an easy task, Hal.

I worked with a couple of engineers from New Zealand on an airplane project at Boeing for a couple of years in the mid 1980's. They were the nicest foreign folks I ever worked with and have always wanted to visit your country. I have heard from other sources there is some of the best trout fishing in the world there - is that true or not, Hal?

Best thing would be to do away with "Clsssic View" and use Modern only... then your location shows... would still need a map to locate where Rapid City is (oh, I remember... I was discharged at Ellsworth AFB :D )

I knew a few people that worked at the Acco Seed Corn Plant by Conrad. I worked for the Acco Seed Corn Plant near DeWitt, IA
