2MH corn picker

I got 2mh corn picker for my b-day. Am going to mount it on an M. Looks a big puzzle to mount it. Was wondering if the operators manual tells you the steps to mounting it or if there was a special book that has the info in it. Any help would be appreciated. I haven't even got it all home yet. Am very excited
 
You have to put different brackets on the axel that hold the ubar, you have to take the swinging drawbar bracket off the belly of the tractor and replace with the piece that the cylnder hooks up to. When you get ready to drive in you have to have the wheels as wide as you can get them and you have to unhook one brake petal and then hook it back up before you are all the way in. I am not sure where you are from but if you know of any old farmers that use to pick corn with a 2MH talk to him. It has been 30 years since I mounted one.

We had 2ME on our Farmall M. What a pain in the you know what! It took a whole day to put the thing on and a day to take it off.
The last time I took it off I used a torch on it and scrapped it. Shur don't miss it.

BTDT, and believe me, you gotta have an owner's manual. Thay are "pistol"...with a manual. I dont remember any shortcuts or easy quick way.
