Oil blow out

What causes and engine to blow oil out of oil fill tube? It is a 1949 Cub.

Severely worn out piston rings.

Two things as pointed out by Mr. T it could be just worn to a frazzle. Or the hydraulic pump could be leaking hydraulic oil into the engine making it """real""" full. That can be fixed with pump seals. Jim

damaged piston or pistons. anyplace the compression can escape into the crankcase.

Wouldn't a blocked crankcase vent create pressure and force oil out? I wouldn't use the term blow, but it sure does come out in a hurry.

Maybe, but the cub has the left side breather cap near the carb, and the down tube by the starter. THose seem very adequate for CC breathing. Jim
