Lights 886 Loader Tractor

I put a loader on my 886, now I can't see at night because the loader restricts the lights. I was thinking of putting some lights on the cab, but did not want a lot of holes in the top of the cab. If someone has some pictures of their setup, I would like to see them. I have to feed at night sometimes and would really like to be able to see. Also the wiring is going on its own switch. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.

The only way to insure the lights will STAY on the bab and work IS to drill ahole and BOLT them on.Magnetic, etc will not stay put.Maybe you could weld a strap to a visegrip, bolt the light to the strap, then clamp that to the roof.....

The silly things should have came from the factory set up like this.

They work SO DARNED GOOD; loader on or not! :>)

I was always going to make some magnetic base ones but I never did. Harbor Freight has some rectangular base magnets with high holding power with an eyebolt. I was going to take the eyebolt out and bolt the light housing to it. Might work for what you are wanting to do.

Thank's guys, ya'll are the Best, I like your picture Allen. I think ya'll are right, I have some fog light that are 55 watts, and will go head and drill a hole in the cab and put them on, when the weather get better, may be this weekend. Thank's guy.

on our 186s we moved the lights that are on the fron bottom of the cab ot to in front of the cab steps so the shine around the loader instead of at the back of the loader. you just unbolt the light from the original mount and bolt the lites to the steps in an existing hole and the wires are long enough to reach you could used a short peice of iron to extent them even farther. it helps alot with out any $$$ spent and is quick.

I got to looking at thew 186s this afternoon and realized I may have mislead you. It looks like the one I hade to drill a hole on the other one I added iron strap to used an existing hole in the steps. I will try to load the pictures I just took.
