Got the m started. Runs good for 3-5 minutes. Then dies. Acts like its out of gas or you turned switch off. Fuel lines clean, new gas, carb tAken apart and cleaned. Plenty of spark. Any ideas? Thanks!!!!

Maybe float needs adjusted/readjusted. Needle and seat could be sticking. Maybe not enough fuel from the tank, pull the line loose and you should have a good flow about as big around as a pencil(the inside of the line). Then get to checking the coil if these do not change anything, A bad coil can cause this also.

have the plug in btm. of carb loose. then as soon as it stops remove the plug and see what sort of fuel flow you have . if next to nothing you found the main problem. if it gushes out till bowl is empty then it shouldnt be fuel problem.

Remove the carb drain plug, let it flow as long as the engine ran then a minute or 2 more. Catch the gas so as to look for dirt/rust/water and so you can use it. If the flow stops before or slows way down before that 5 minutes or so then work you way back till you find where the clogged line is. Also if you find that is good then start it up. The moment it dies check your spark. DO NOT turn off the ignition check it before you do that so that any part to is heating up /going bad will still act the same. Spark has to be a blue/white and jump a 1/4 inch gap or more

It was the float hitting the side of bowl. Adjusted it and runs like new. I do know I need to fix the furnace fuel pump in my shop!!! 14" out. Thanks for all the help!!
