Thanks to all who offered help. Took off and reinstalled hydraulic filter canister for 5th time with help of my brother . Pulled loader lever and it picked up perfectly .Apparently had trash or something in o ring groove preventing air-tight seal.Went ahead and dragged some logs for firewood and fed cows .You guys are wonderful-Thanks again.

| Hi Warren,
Good to hear you solved the problem. Those "O" rings are a PITA. I would always be very careful removing filter cover, examine "O" ring carefully and if there was no visible damage, dip my finger in Hytran and rub it on "O" ring and carefully replace filter cover. Only replaced "O" ring about every 3rd time.
The only "O" ring worse was the oil filter canister on BD-154, had to look upwards while oil dripped on your face!!!JimB

| I suspect it will be a long time before I remove that canister again!!! Loaded some big hardwood logs today with front loader-never slowed down so I believe the 584 is good to go !!! Thanks again.
