B414 Clutch

Can a B414 with a single stage clutch be changed to 2 stage by just changing the clutch assembly? I don't think it can but I'm hoping I am wrong.

Hi Phil,
Looked at caseih.com parts for B414 and there are several differences required for constant running PTO (dual stage clutch, live PTO) option. I have never seen a B414 without live PTO but there were B414s made for construction applications that did not require live PTO. I believe if you have a good engine, easiest solution would be transplant engine into a tractor with live PTO and bad engine. Or sell it and buy one with live PTO. Newer 434, 444, 384 had better brakes and most had PS.

Thanks I didn't think so because of the shaft in the transmission
