we have replaced the stock injectors with 7.3 powerstroke injectors which had to machine the injector bodies out did not increase horsepower as we thought injection pump has also been rebuilt still has precumbustion chambers installed

we still have only 95 HP after changing the injectors rebuilding the injection pump and i failed to add putting a MW Turbo kit on as well wanted to get above 100 HP looking for information have heard that some pullers have converted to this style injectors but can not find out what steps they are using to get more HP

I'm just curious.
How exactly do you get an injector that is electronically controlled and fired with high pressure oil to work with a regular injector pump??

You sure they're Powerstroke injectors????

And what is your question??

the injectors are for older Navastar 7.3 manual injection pump had to mill old injector bodies to make fit they screw in old bodie seal with a washer the tip just protrudes the bottom of the old injector bodie had to add return lines to the systom with these injectors they pop at 2900 psi instead of the 400 t0 500 the old factory injectors

Question is how to get more horsepower? Also wanted to talk to some one who had experince changing injectors to this style heard that some of the pullers were using the manual 7.3 injectors but can not find any info as if need to time engine different or turn fuel down or what?
started with about 95 HP since then engine has been overhauled
injection pump rebuilt
injectors changed to 7.3
turbo added still 95 HP
pto does not appear to be slipping can stall out engine if try
engine does lug well but HP does not increase when on dyno pulled down more than rated
