I bought a new M shortly after rebuilding the engine on mine. By shortly I mean the engine has less than one hour on it. Everything new or rebuilt.
The new one was to be for parts but it was a better overall tractor. Now the one with the brand new engine is for parts.
I will eventually use those parts in the new M when it needs it, but right now it runs perfectly. I have the oil pan off the parts tractor right now as I am swapping pans. The junk tractor is indoors so I'm not worrying about rain or the elements causing problems.
What do I do to prevent surface rust in the engine or engine seizing? Do I fog everything with something like pb blaster while the pan is off? I put a little oil in the cylinders and drained the antifreeze already.
