Does anyone have any idea how many 856 gassers were made?

I'm sure someone will come up with a better number for you. But this will hold you until then. Ha Ha. built 67-71. First # was 7501, First number of last year built was 9653.

Gasoline probably was an option.But in reality I would say there were "damn few to none" 'gassers' were acctually built.

I have seen a few 856 gassers. We had one in our area. You couldn't give me one. I wouldn't take an 806 gas either.

In my years of buying and selling i have seen a bunch at the big auctions . Most were tired and got bought up by salvage yards for parts . Since the parts would fit the diesels . Just like the 806 gassers there were a ton of them .
