966 hydraulic system delete

It may sound screwy, but what is required to REMOVE a second set of hydraulic lines and the valve from a 966? The lines, lever, and blcok removal is evident, but is there a blocker plate that must be installed on the side of the valve body when the second valve body is removed?

Would you like to sell that multiplier block and lever.

I would like to add a 3rd valve to my 1066.

Yup, the second valve in the stack is actually the first. You take out the middle valve and put the outer one back on with shorter bolts.

The problem with that is if you're plumbed using hard lines, they no longer line up with the valve body. A 966 would've always had 2 remote valves so I don't know how you'd deal with the hard line issue.

Now that the question is answered, what is the reason for your "screwy" idea?

The reason is that at some point, one of the coupler bodies was somehow caught by something and bent all to heck, with the lines being badly kinked. Never use the second outlets as the tractor is relagated soley to mowing set aside. Other than purchase new lines and parts, I just thought it would be easier to delete it.
Probably won't sell it, though. I'll stick it on the shelf incase some day I HAVE to put it back on.
