I found an old H-84 thats been sitting for about six years, the tractor was working when parked years ago and has not been towed in gear.It started leaking under the "clutch housing" when I changed Hy-Tran and filter. It also likes to stand comleatly still, no go.
Coluld it be the charge pump leaking?
 
The issue will not go away. The leak will need to be found, but the problem with no go (even with full hydraulic reservoir) will need to be analyzed. The books and diagrams are moderately complex. Pressure testing gauges, fittings and adapters are needed. If you are a mechanic, go for it. if you aren't, either sell it, or pay to have it fixed. Really no way to diagnose by forum. Jim
