Any pictures would be helpful. I am also looking for a power steering kit as well. How well does the priority valve system work versus the reservor and mounted pump system? [Reply]   [No Email]

Start at the two collars on the pedestal they must be flush and tight. Then work your way down the shaft, gears, bushing, rod ends and look for the looseness. Do you have an operators manual. If the nut holding the sector gear down on the splined bolster shaft is loose, try tightening it. Remove key first. Worm & gear can be inspected also. [Reply]  [No Email]
S2710 12-06-2012 12:48:10 98.143.227.89 Report to Moderator	Re: Farmall Super MTA Steering is Loose in reply to Brady Miller, 12-06-2012 10:40:12   Brady as Rustred said it could be many things, but the first things I would be checking would be the U joint just under the hood and second would be the bearing on the end of the steering shaft on the top of the bolster. If them two things are good then it could be worm gear, steering gear, upper and lower bolster bushings, or the bolster shaft it self. HTH Bob [Reply]  [No Email]
