Obsolete wear parts?

Was hoping some of you fellas could tell me if there is much of a demand for some of the older blacksmith shares as well as plow chief wear parts etc...Not only IH but other makes as well? Or what parts would you feel there'd be a need for? Just thinking with all the plow days and such going on and getting larger every year, there might be a need for older wear parts? I'll send the replies to Osmundson who is a manufacturer and maybe they'd consider making them by order only. Let me know your thoughts? Thank you in advance!

I think there is a market for all makes of plow wear parts. I this area 10 years ago you could by a decent 2 to 4 bottem plow for less than $50.00 at an auction. Now a decent plow will go for $300.00 plus. I just found 2 NOS shares for the 2 x12 plow for my Super A. I have been looking for some for a few years now. There is a market I don't how big it would be.

I have often thought that there should at least be one manufactor that we could have wear parts ordered ,even with a premuim price.
 
I am in need of 14" plow chief parts, specifically moldboards. By the looks of several other recent posts there is a good amount of need for plow chief parts. Let me know if they do intend to make a run. My email is open.
 
Keep watching. Maybe Earl will see this. The old Crescent Forge factory has been sold and hopefully will be up and running again soon making these parts.
 
I will keep you informed as soon as everything is completed. Crescent Forge has the only tooling to manufacture the conventional plow (Blacksmith) share & moldboards.
 
Steve Rea & I are working on the Plow Chief Points. & Oliver heels They will be made from a good material. We need a Plow Chief Frog 14-16 inch to check the fit.Steve lives in Salem ,Ohio I live In Mahomet,IL close to Champaign,IL & I 74
