When i took my M flywheel off I put a long 2x4 (one i used was about 3 feet long so I could hold onto it) against the side of the flywheel and gave it a couple of raps with a 3 pound hammer making sure to hit the wood and not the flywheel. I did that on both sides/top and bottom and it finally wiggled off. Be carefull, it weights a ton, you dont want to drop it on your toes. I would also suggest checking the ring gear for wear. May want to change it out while you have it all apart. good luck ~Anthony
