What brand of 85-140 gear oil do you use and also are you using a gallon of the lucas 80-140 oil or the lucas HD gear oil for the transmission?I have a super C Thank

| i use one quart of the same stuff in the motor with four quarts of motor oil

|   i mostly use traveller and lucas hd oil stabilizer here is where i get my lucas from buylucasoil.com

Thank you for the reply, does the GL number hurt anything? I hear that GL-5 is not good on trans that have brass parts or yellow metal in them, is this correct?Thank again for all the help

| That used to be true, but I think the newer GL-5
oils are made to be compatible with the lower numbers and copper or brass.
Hope someone corrects me if I have the wrong information.
