I remember when using the Shaver fencepost driver years ago on a 706 in a one-man set-up, I cut a small block of wood that wedged between the lever and the platform and held the lever in the up position. If you're tying it down and forward, odds are good the lever keeps slipping into float on you. Switch the hoses around on the couplers if the backhoe runs backwards on you with the lever tied back. What do you do, then what does the tractor do? Does the lever pop back to neutral on its own? That is normal. You need to tie the lever back with a bungee cord or baler twine. Are the couplers good? Bad couplers, or poorly seated couplers, can seal up and not let fluid flow. [Reply]  [No Email]
