Borrow a borescope light and look in all the cylinders for rust. Since it won't turn over your engine may be seized from rust. Hal [Reply]  [No Email]

The main difference is the replacement of the drive spring with a better cushion based pinion, and smaller spring. How did the other information given you on prior posts work out? Janicholson 11-21-2012 19:31:17 96.24.99.126 Report to Moderator	Re: 300 want start in reply to Janicholson, 11-21-2012 19:07:21   If you accidentally left the fuel on, and it filled one or more cylinders with fuel it will not allow the engine to turn. Check the oil for gasoline smell. Also do not pull start a locked engine it is a sure way to bend a connecting rod, or break a crankshaft. Jim [Reply]  [No Email]

gene bender 11-21-2012 14:28:17 207.177.56.85 Report to Moderator	Re: 300 want start in reply to susan a, 11-21-2012 13:33:12   Yup the starter drive is locked to the flywheel just do as other post said loosen the bolts on the starter and wiggle the starter the bendix should release. Check all batt connections as a weak voltage can cause the starter to lockup pretty easy mite need a new Bendix. [Reply]  [No Email]
