Super Chief? pic

Is it possible to bolt Super Chief frogs on this 5-14" IH plow, and if so are 14" and 16" frogs the same? I know where I can buy an parts plow model 560 with 5-16" bottoms? I just can"t find wear parts at a reasonable price anywhere and figured this might be an option for me. Any help appreciated!

I don't believe the frogs are the same but all IH bottoms are interchangeable between plows. They just mount on with three bolts. So if you unbolt a bottom from one plow you can bolt it up to a different plow.

You would think there are still thousands of old plows setting around. Can you buy a good used one? Maybe a parts plow?

Dont try to fix something if a replacement is available.

Yes, the frogs are the same. 16" bottoms will work just fine on a 14" plow. The "extra" share width will just hang out into the already- plowed ground and do nothing.
