new 50.00 kit, witch wasnt much new parts, , runs beter with needle valve cloesed and after cheaking on it later, dripping gas and takeing a screwdriver to open the hose to the air cleaner on this super c, i bought frem dell, sorry, it flowed out gas like it was full. tractor sits up in the front. but its all a new flote valve. any rteason? thanks |

Did you immerse the float in warm water and look for air bubbles rising to the surface? If the float is leaking, it doesn't make any difference what else you have done, that carburetor will still leak. And for what it's worth, a replacement float for the Carter U.T. is non-existent. |

| i soaked it and spraded it th best i could. not sayin im always rite by far. this c has got me heated cuz of what i needed to get it rite, even splitting it for the clutch, when told just back against a stump and burn it. ya, rite. braek somethin? new radeator, 382.00 so soryy just pissed a little.ps, changed front seal. no charge for my time. |

| thought,,, would tha flotes work better when thay are laying level with the ground, rather from an un level tractor? |

| Your carb needs to be cleaned, and your float is hanging up and/or the needle is not seating allowing gas to run out. |

| If you did not clean the carb first new parts do nothing. I have overhauled enough carbs so that I am not going to change my opinion. Buy a complete kit from CaseIH and you will spend $100+, and no gold will come out the muffler. Again, if you have fuel leaking out the air cleaner hose, the float and/or needle valve are not working right. |
