Can you hear one or more cylinders being weak as the engine turns over? As in 1 or 2 cylinders not coming up to correct pressure? I'd be sure the fuel is good & is getting to the pump. Check for ice blockage in the fuel lines if you are below freezing. Are the filters clean & letting fuel through? Is the return line from the pump open/ no blockage? Have you had the pump off--did it get put back in correct time?? |

| | I guess it was running when they parked it all we took off is the starter to be rebuilt, and the intake hoses and the stack. We had the injectors out and put a couple squirts of oil in the cylinders so I'm ASSUMING, its not a ring problem. But it still won't even fire on ether and we have fuel comming out to the injectors. I'd think it would fire with no fuel at all if there was ether being used. This is my nighbors tractor and I've never had to deal with a stuck engine. I didn't know if the valves could stick or not or if they'd hid the piston. |
