| It has wheel weights. I'd buy it in a heart beat if it was close to me.I think i love M's more than 66 series. Well i'm not sure. Kent |

| What do you mean? That one's perfectly saveable.
Tin looks straight. It's an LP, so if the engine isn't seized it's surely in good shape. They don't get a lot of rain in Texas so it might not be set up.
It's got the rare-rare mid-1953 grille that has the areas for the large holes, but they're not punched out. That's worth as much as they're asking for the whole tractor. |

| The exhaust is uncovered, not a good sign. You are right about the grill, but I wouldn't pay $500 for it. I did pay $300 (about my limit for any grill) for a M grill for my Super M, it is repairable, that one looks pretty good. Also has a single front wheel that a lot of people on this forum have not seen, common in TX. I suppose for $500 it is ok unless the block is cracked. I completely disassemble and also do engine overhauls, so it is at least as good as the one I paid $2500 for a couple of years ago that is now in at least in 75 pieces. |

| Many years ago I had a Super M and though I nearly wore it out I really liked that tractor. I left it on the farm for my step-son when I went back to California to try to please my(now ex)wife. The kid completly ruined the tractor in about 6 months trying to drag logs out of the woods and doing other rotten jobs. Seeing one like that thing in the ad makes me sick. Just shoot the poor thing and junk it out.......In it's day there were very few tractors as good as a Super M Farmall. |
