Im wondering where the best place to get some parts for a 10 20 would be? Im in need of a carb kit and float, mine is a cork float, can i put a brass float in it?. I also need a fan belt and it should have everything in the ignition replaced. Its been sittin in a barn and hasn't run since 1970 until today. Im sure i'll have more questions. Thanks |

| Yes, you can get a brass float, but you have to solder it to your existing float arm. Not a big deal if you have soldering tools. The new cork floats are coated to resist the modern gas. I have had no trouble with them. But the brass float from one source is actually cheaper than the cork.
Here are the two main sources for new 10-20 parts.
