Before you get your knickers in a twist, just think about what if you did NOT think of the relief valve already? You'd be kissing tractor vet's feet for saving you from splitting your pump in half, not getting defensive.
Just because you know doesn't mean that we know you know.
Heck, even if we know that you know, that doesn't mean you didn't forget.
You won't get any guff from me about your clone MTA. Taking a clapped-out 400 and making it into an MTA is on my list, if I don't find one. |

| mkirsch... Understand where you're coming from, but I'm sure in your life there are people that rub you wrong. I'll leave it at that. The biggest thing you need for your 400 project is the top cover from an MTA or some say the later Super M. And the rest is pretty much bolt on. I used M sheet metal. I shortened and redrilled the frame rails to accept the sheet metal. Also used the 450 radiator, just changed the filler neck. Thanks for your input. |
