I have a question for you. I bought an H IH couple years ago. I hooked it up for down pressure. I tapped the right outlet to the valve by the seat and then brought the return hose to the fill tube. Unscrewed the cap, put in a galv. tee and a short galv nipple. Then put pipe cap on top with small hole drilled in the top. I have used it for three years and has never lost any fluid thru the cap. I use it for pulling a cult. and disk. Every one says it should leak but?? Maybe with a loader and more volume and back pressure it might, huh? Len

If it does not gush out the vent you drilled great. Many people have had that issue, so one good solution is to put return fluid into the drain with a T or cross if it is returning from two cylinders (loader).
A loader with 700# of dirt returns the fluid in a torrent. Jim
