Does anyone know what the sensor switch is for on the right hand side of the block? It has two spade terminals and has nothing connected to it. |

Thanks...that helps. At first I thought it was some sort of temperature switch for the carb solenoid as either one is connected to anything.

my 706 has a frost plug heater in that location with a short pigtail cord. Heater has 2 male prongs and cord has a rubber plug with 2 female recepticals. Maybe someone had made a cord at some point and just left the spade clipes on it..

Looks pretty light duty to be a block heater. Has spade terminals. Looks more like a switch. To me...will take a second look tomorrow. Thanks.

I could not find a sender on any diagram for that tractor. I also think it is a block heater. The manufacturers made the prongs pretty short. If you are still curious, pull it out and look. Jim

John, I believe you are describing a block heater that is missing the power pigtail cord.
