The relief valve ont he Lift All is locked or frozen. This happened after years of use. The control lever is engaged but can't be moved from down position. Any suggestions?

Take it out of the tractor & disassemble it. Nothing too complicated inside. No wires, no computer chips ,etc.

The pump is heavy, so be careful.

The easiest way to re-install is to use 2 threaded rods and a ratchet-wrench to lift it back into place.

Problem with Lift All is that pump drive shaft is sheared where it screws into female dog on coupling shaft!!Ever heard of that hyappening? Local tractor repair shop is looking for why and what can be done.

here is a spring inside that originally pulled the lever back down to the hold position when it reached full pressure. It may have broken and gone through the pump. On on ours did that. Did not shear shaft, but took chunks out of pump and locked both the pump and tranny spindles on so tight I have not been able to get them off.
