Auction Prices

Just got back from the auction that I posted a week or so ago. They had an all orginal 54'? M that was in very good condition and had good tires. It sounded great when it ran. It brought $2,200.00. All the work on the 6 restored ones was very well done. They all ran and each one was driven up on the block to be auctioned off.
29' McCormick Deering 22-36 $3,900.00
34' F-12 $2,900.00
37' McCormick Deering W-30 $4,000.00
32' Farmall Regular $1,700.00
35' F20 $1,700.00
27' McCormick Deering 10-20 $6,000.00
The guy that restored them was there and would answer any questions you had. All the steel wheels went from $50 to $100 each. The fronts went for $10 to $25 each. They were all marked as to what they fit.
This is what stuff sells for on a Monday in the middle of Kansas.

I know he did. They all had to have 2 to 3 grand in the paint alone. The one had brand new rubber all the way around with the little nubs still on all 4 tires.

If you mean 2-$3000 for the combined tractors, yes. I just paid $500+ for my Super M for PPG Omni base clear, epoxy primer, hardener and reducer, don't have the sandable surfacer yet, will probably have spent about $700. I live 100 miles west of that consignment auction (two per year), wasn't interested in the F series or older, the regular and the F20 went too cheap, but there aren't that many people that have a tractor hobby out here, would be interesting to know where the buyers were from. The seller went way in the hole on those, but so does everybody.
