M flat belt pulley drive

I need to change the belt pulley drive on my M. Do I need to remove the sediment bowl from the fuel tank?

I think you do need to remove the sediment bowl assembly, and it seems that maybe there is a couple of long bolts that will not clear the tank, but those bolts can be screwed out far enough they will be loose and can be removed after the housing is lifted up a little ways.

I would remove the sediment bowl.The extra working
room will be needed.And there will be no chance of
breaking the sb off.that pully assy will be heavy
under the tank.
