In the last 460 deal I made I ended up with other parts. I have a belly pump and not sure of the application. It turns freely. I think it is for an M. The casting is in perfect shape Casting number is 5027-EE Date code 12.29.X I want to sell it however I'd like to know what unit it is for. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Tracy |

Most of the differance between that unit and the previous number is the housing is shaped to clear a 12 inch clutch. That unit fits any M or SM. But a stage 2 SM that came with a engine driven pump does not have the drive dog installed on the transmission counter shaft to drive it.

Tracy that is 12.29.1952. 5027-EE is the part number for the M hydraulic reservoir. If you could unstrap, flip it over and take another picture and look for the part number on that back plate. It should be either 5028-EBX or 352430R11 for later Ms. Somehow is doesn't look like the parts explosion picture from the IH parts book.

That helps alot Other side is part number 352480R1 or 352430R1 can't tell if the 5th digit is an 8 or 3. The guy I bought the 460 from also had a SM and I did'nt notice if it had a belly pump on it or not. It was a cotton picker that had been turned back into a tractor. Had those big axles with bolsters on the end of axles for mounting a picker. Tracy

It is a belly pump for 52-54 M or SM. I went onto the caseIH website and looked up the part numbers. I will advertise it on this site, hopefully someone can use it.

Good deal! I have had several H belly pumps out to fix leaks, but have not pulled either of my M pumps.
