Son's buddy bought a fairly nice Regular that was running but has what appears to be a bad valve by the way it ran. They pulled the head and found a piston/liner damaged by water. The other three are in very good shape. I have an engine out of an F-20 sitting in the barn that they can pull a piston/sleeve out of. I'm pretty sure they will interchange but thought I'd ask you guys first. I hope one of them hasn't been bored. Thanks. Jim [Reply]   [No Email]

This young man was bummed out when he saw the bad p&s. He just hasn't torn into enough old tractors yet. There's always a surprise when you open an old one up. I'll have to contact Rice's. Lots of them running with cracks. The cooling system is not pressurized and they are very forgiving old machines. [Reply]  [No Email]
