IH 504 front hubs

Have 6 hole hubs on a 504 utility and would like to change. Did they make 8 hole hubs that will fit on the 504?

I doubt "they" made 8 lug hubs specifically for a 504. I would assume if you looked at enough 8 lug hubs you could find some that could be made to work with machine work or some creative use of a bearing catalog. But why would you want to?

A 504U is too light of a tractor to need 8 bolt hubs. If you put something on the front heavy enough to need 8 bolt hubs, you are going to break something expensive. If its flotation you are after, then there are other options like wide 15 inch 6 bolt rims and flotation tires.

If your tractor has the standard factory wide fron 560-1256,yes factory 8 bolt hubs will slide right on.But why?A 504 is not big enough to need 8 bolts.If you are looking for"cool factor",NOT- It will look rediculous.A set of 9.5L/11L 15 or 10.00x16 will hold all(and more) that tractor is capable of.

Besides you can get 6-hole rims in any diameter or width you want...

The 8-bolt hubs won't do anything to make the SPINDLES stronger, either. Spindles are what break, not hubs.
